The Local Food Project at Airlie, working together with the Accokeek Foundation & a thriving network of local farms and farmers, is excited to launch the 2010 Chesapeake CRAFT program, for farmers/interns/apprentices & others wishing to advance their practical understanding of diverse approaches to ecological small farming in and around the DC Metro Area.

UPDATE: The extension service's programs help local gardeners grow - washingtonpost.com #VCE (Virginia Cooperative Extension) is now tasked with making the budget cuts next year themselves of about $1mm rather than being directed where to cut by the legislature.
